Quick Skillet Lasagne

 


Making lasagne quite frankly takes ages; the preparation, the baking, the settling. It’s a long process, but often it’s worth it.

But, when you’re a busy mum you want convenience, and this quick skillet lasagne will tick all your boxes.

It’s quick and easy. It’s delicious and the whole family will quite simply love it!

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 200g beef mince
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 300g tomato pasta sauce
  • 200g fresh lasagne sheets
  • 50g mozzarella, grated
  • 20g Parmesan, grated

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/ gas mark 6.

2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the mince for 6-8 minutes until browned all over with no pink parts remaining, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon. Season with salt and black pepper.

3. Add almost all of the pasta sauce, reserving about four tablespoons. Cook for five minutes.

4. Bunch up the fresh lasagne sheets and place them among the mince. Pour over the reserved sauce and scatter with the mozzarella and Parmesan.

5. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the pasta is cooked and the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
