Master Prata is now headed by third-generation owner, Asraf Jahabar, but its history dates back to the 1930s. Besides prata, roti john (from $7.50) is another popular item on the menu. Master Prata uses soft buns instead of French loaf, resulting in a gentler, moreish chew. There are also multiple fillings to pick from. The usual chicken and mutton mince are available alongside the steak-filled Roti John Steak Power Beef or Roti Hohn Steak Power Chicken (from $14.50).
